Please beware: the shark image below is scary!!
A Megalodon shark hanging in the San Diego Natural History Museum lobby. Largest extinct type of shark to have existed even before dinosaurs.
Kids were terrified (me a little startled) to look directly at this shark’s enormous face with its sharp teeth and menacing stare. Although they avoided looking at it, they insisted that I take a picture of it. Every time they were in line of vision with the shark, I had to cover their eyes or they accused me of being a mean mom.
While I was writing this post, kids saw a glimpse of this shark and immediately they cried.

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
Enormous creature. Bit I find it interesting in all these millions of years, the markings are still similar to today’s sharks.

Enormous it is!! The great white shark is related to the Megalodon. I hope the picture didn’t startle you. 🙂 Have a great weekend!
