Six word Saturday: “Wash your hands, ya’ filthy animal”

Staying at home for almost three months means that I’ve been wondering how to jazz up our living space.

Living room stuff is too much commitment, so I settled on bathroom space. I was initially looking for a nice flower or maybe a picture of a fancy tub or something.

The search led to bathroom humor decor and thinking about them still gives me the biggest laughs. If you browse the options, you will be impressed with the creativity of these one liners. Here’s a funny one: “Please stay seated for the entire performance.” lol

The wall sign I ended up getting is the title of this post. The runner up was “nice bum” in lowercase, black font on a plain white background. But it was all sold out; I didn’t want to sign up for the wait list. Next time.

Anyways, this sign is hanging in our bathroom and it makes you smile at its silliness. The message to wash hands is also very important.

Thanks Debbie for hosting this challenge and have a great weekend!

    1. It is a fun saying to put up in the bathroom! Too bad we haven’t had any guests surprised to see it in the bathroom. With the COVID, we’re all staying put. We’ll probably get another one for kicks. Others are so funny too. lol

      1. Yes, I’ll do my part to merge to the public very slowly. My husband watched the news and said, the young people went back to the public too soon without masks. They got the virus and take home to their families.

      2. I know what you mean. California especially is having high rates of new cases. Our Governor looks worn out in the news and I wonder how it’ll be when flu season begins in the fall.
        Stay safe and well!

      3. Many long months. Don’t know how many more we have to go like this.
Yes, most years I get flu shots. When I’m too busy with stuff, I miss it. But this year I went in for an appointment and I could just get it done there. Very convenient.
My kids are the first ones to get it the day the pediatrician gets it in her office. If it lessens the chances, they’re getting it. 🙂

      4. I have been taking the flu shots for several years. My insurance reminds me to take it. I can walk in to the pharmacy without appointment. It’s convenient too.

It’s a good idea for the kids to take it especially when school is open. When I was teaching, I got the flu from my students.🙂

      5. Teachers and staff at school need to take vitamins and take care! Kids bring all kinds of germs to school and flu season is horrible. I worked at an elementary school for a few months, and the principal told me to take vitamins and wash hands frequently.
Can you believe flu shots will be in session in a few months?! I don’t know what to expect with flu and COVID. ugh.
