Flower of the day: June 26, 2020. Dainty bows

These mini flowers remind me of those ribbons quickly tied by an experienced hand: so delicate, casually elegant (can’t think of the right word here), and dainty.

Pelagornium from the SF Botanical Garden.

Thank you Cee for hosting this challenge! Have a great weekend.

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!

      1. It is like the pictures you see and it says “what do you see?” You saw ribbons, I saw fairies – I saw ribbons too after you pointed them out to us.

    1. Nature is full of beautiful finds! Bows give off that nostalgic air. I still love bows and used to make bow hair pins for my daughter. One of my crafty friends taught me. However, I kept burning my hands from the hot glue and took up way too much time. I buy them now instead. Looks better and lasts longer. lol
If you feel like it, wear a bow this summer and go down memory lane.
