   1. I think they are Zinnias. I assumed they were Marigolds, but don’t quote me on that. I’m not too good about identifying flowers.
      But these yellow flowers were so fluffy and soft!

      1. Marigolds are usually small. I don’t know the actual size of your flowers.

      2. I did not know Marigolds were smaller. You must be right then. These yellow flowers are probably Zinnias. They are pretty flowers.

      3. I’m planting Zinnias from seeds. The seedlings are about two inches tall. I was told butterflies like them.

      4. They will be pretty to have in your garden. Having butterflies as visitors would be a treat and great photo opp. Kids and I raised caterpillar to butterfly from a company called Insect Lore. It was so much fun and we got to release them by getting them to sit on our fingers, dipped in sugar water. Here is the link to see the pictures of that experience:

      5. Thank you, Esther. When I first taught preschool, we did that. We incubated eggs, made ice cream, raised butterfly, and more.

      6. All those projects sound fun and educational! My kids want to incubate eggs but I don’t know what to do with them once they hatch.
         Preschool kids are full of personality, energy, and sweetness. I used to work with preschoolers too in bible study classes. I loved their curiosity and wonder.
