Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!

  1. I cold easily sit at any of these and draw or write
and the composition for the photo with the pit and part of the chair was really moody and cool

    1. I agree with you! I would do the same if I could have the whole afternoon to myself. The slow paced ambience of Napa makes me want to spend a whole summer there to read and write and wander around the pretty places. One can only imagine…maybe when kids are in college. (It’s be more fun if I were a wine drinker but not a big fan).
You noticed! The flower pot by the wooden chair oozed nature to me and I stood there a long time taking various shots of it. I got a full shot of the bench with the pot, but that was too much. Showing just a bit of the bench seemed to work better for the photo.
Thank you for noticing and mentioning.
