Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
At least no one is giving you the stinkeye!

So true! Many a stinkeye I get as kids are getting to be know-it-alls.

Yes, I can believe that … you and I didn’t do that as we knew better.

My friends have kids of similar ages and we are looking at the tween and teenage years with trepidation. It should be fine but it will take some graceful navigating. eeek!
I did those behind their backs. hahaha.

Such clear captures – both photos give us different views – the second one has the fun blue horizontal lines and is my fav of the two

Thank you Yvette! It’s funny how our Betta explores the whole tank with her neon tetra posse. Your thoughtful comment is always appreciated.

Thanks, your comment made me happy! We’ve been keeping fish for a few years and have been slowly making progress. It all started with a tadpole project advertised on Rainbow Resources. We’ve had our share of fatalities and drama, but it’s a fun and educational hobby for us.

Thank you! We’ve been working on making it look better this summer, but we’re having serious algae problems. The clean up is awful though…that’s when my helpers slowly take their leave.
