Monochrome Monday: August 5, 2021. Hello?

Oh my goodness, I titled this post as August 5th, and today is September 6th. I really need to utilize my calendar. But my longtime readers know that I make these kinds of errors from time to time. Thanks for understanding and laughing along with me! lol. I’m leaving the wrong date as is, for fun.

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!

      1. I’ll stop by your blog soon! I reviewed some posts quickly but I want to take time to read them. I’m very behind on the Reader and writing. Homeschooling has started and life is full of this and that.
Hope you are well and enjoying mid September! Hugs…

      2. Take your time, no worries Esther. I did more posts than usual over the last two weeks. That’s why I decided not to post on Monday this week. My sunflowers post is for tomorrow – I know you and I commented on sunflowers and I also did with Yvette. Our weather may keep me off here tonight – bad again, for the 18th or 19th time this Summer. School again – Summer break flew by!

      3. I feel bad not to respond timely to comments and wanted to let you know that I’m not MIA, just running around like a headless chicken.
Oh no, the vacillating weather pattern begins for you again. Hope you stay safe and the power stays on. Maybe this is a stretch, but one positive is that at least your neighbors won’t do fireworks?
One more week of summer. My mind is still somewhere in August.

      4. Well that IS a positive Esther – no fireworks when it is stormy or raining. Tell me why people would be shooting off fireworks on Labor Day and the day before?? I have no words sometimes. I’m not on Tik Tok and today I heard the newest craze for teenagers is for them to tear apart things in schools, notably bathrooms, and film it or talk about it. One guy ripped the doors of a bathroom stall door; another ripped the grab bars off the stall walls. Thank goodness your kids are brought up the right away and will not ever be influenced by kids in a classroom setting. Between the weather this Summer, the ever-changing news about COVID and the news in general, I shake my head more and more. I am behind two days right now in Reader. I have been behind 5-6 days in the Spring and that was a big problem trying to get caught up again. Since I’ve gone to just two posts a week, it has been better.
