Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!

    1. Thank you Linda!! Your kind comment is very sweet and I’m happy to know that you like these rocks. It was our first time doing it and it took us about a week to do. We still have more rocks but the acrylic marker pens ran out. We had lots to color over the first round.

      1. I was following the local painted rock site here and some people, like you, were able to create beautiful scenes or sayings on tiny rocks. There was one artist who used to do profiles and other sceneries onto her rocks and show the to the group. Here are some from a post a long time ago if you need some more inspiration:

        Rocky Road.

  1. The painted rocks in your link are very nice and cheerful! Who knew that plain rocks could become works of art and encouragement? Once you get started, you must want to keep painting more.

    1. I hope you’ll find the rock painting activity as enjoyable and relaxing as we did. I felt too much pressure looking at sample rock arts, so I had to stop and just go with what I wanted.
Have a blessed time during your blog break! Come back when you feel ready…looking forward to seeing you back. 🙂

      1. I hope I can make the time for it for I’ve been excited to do it for the longest time! A quick question: did you purchase your rocks?

Thank you, my friend, and I hope to be back soon. I’ll be active on my other two blogs before year-end, so I hope I can make time for the main one I’m temporarily leaving. Hope you’re having a great week! 💙😃

      2. We bought the rocks on Amazon. We tried painting rocks we found but the surface was difficult to work with. Multiple stores sell rocks just for this craft. I hope you get to do it when you get the time. I’m sure you’ll make some pretty ones.
Forgive my ignorance, but could you remind me of your other 2 blogs? Sorry that I don’t remember. Hope you had a good weekend and will have a blessed start to the last week of October. Isn’t it wild how quickly months are passing?!
