Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!

      1. It’s still there; flattened and dried out. It’ll probably get washed away with the upcoming rain later this week.
Late summer a car ran over a rat a few feet from our garage. It was nasty!! I attempted to toss it in the trash, armed with a broom and dust pan, but I couldn’t do it. It still had the fur, tail, and you know all that other stuff that comes out when an animal becomes road kill. Oh man, it was horrible. Had to call the HOA manager. I guess this summer other residents had rat issues; thankfully none for us except for outside the garage.
Will convey your message to Ellis! Thanks.

  1. Flat as a pancake – wow! I visited friends of the family in Puerto Rico years ago. They had an apartment with a huge bush out front and in it lived lizards. We had to pass it to get to the parking garage and they’d be sunning themselves on the leaves and running around on the ground. If they saw us, they’d scurry back into the bush. Freaked me out! (Tonight I’m going to try to catch up in Reader a little – was totally caught up as of Saturday night – behind again.)
