Flower of the Day: Dec. 21, 2021

Happy first day of winter! It started raining this afternoon, a perfect welcome to a new season and hopefully an end to our state’s drought. I don’t remember seeing these few flowers this time or probably didn’t notice in the past. Here are some of my finds from today’s drizzly walk.

“If winter comes, can spring be far behind?”

― Percy Bysshe Shelley, Ode to the West Wind

Thank you Cee for hosting this challenge! Hope you and my readers are having a safe week in the lead up to Christmas. Take care and I’m grateful for all of you.

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
