Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
Nothing like a cool tent in the living room.

LoL…quite comfy inside. Close to open window and Christmas lights.

Open window. What a concept for mid January where we currently have several inches of snow. LOL

hahaha, Anita, that’s a good point. No snow here as it feels like late autumn here except the trees are bare and plants flowerless. Miss the experiences of the 4 seasons.
Stay safe and warm!

The good ol’ days – building a fort with your friend … in this case your brother. We used to take an old blanket outside and drape it over where the chain link fences met (in a corner). My best friend, also named Linda, lived next door.

Forts never get old! I still crawl into them with either Ellis or Elliot. They now talk to each other over their forts playing the same video game on their tablets. It gets very noisy.
Your outdoor fort sounds cool. More adventurous and being out in the elements. Nice!

They must love you crawling right in there with them – it’s nice to remember those simple childhood joys we had.

It is super fun. In Ellis’ spot, she inhabits that space with 25 plush dolls.
I tell them to be careful not to hit my eye, so it’s getting hard to cram in there together.
It’s a childhood memory that I think they’ll memory with fondness.
