Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!

  1. The good ol’ days – building a fort with your friend … in this case your brother. We used to take an old blanket outside and drape it over where the chain link fences met (in a corner). My best friend, also named Linda, lived next door.

    1. Forts never get old! I still crawl into them with either Ellis or Elliot. They now talk to each other over their forts playing the same video game on their tablets. It gets very noisy.
Your outdoor fort sounds cool. More adventurous and being out in the elements. Nice!

      1. It is super fun. In Ellis’ spot, she inhabits that space with 25 plush dolls.
I tell them to be careful not to hit my eye, so it’s getting hard to cram in there together.
It’s a childhood memory that I think they’ll memory with fondness.
