Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
What could be better than two youngsters with such bright smiles?! Wonderful capture.

Thank you! Big brother wanted a ride in little sister’s buggy thinking it great fun.

This is a cute post – Ellis must be eating lots of spinach to push that big stroller with Elliot in it!

Thank you Linda! She was so proud to do that and Elliot loved sitting in her red buggy. That picture was taken few years back and I think she was still in pull-up diapers. But your comment is accurate: one of her favorite vegetables is spinach.

I didn’t realize it was an older picture – Ellis is petite, so I wouldn’t have known. Spinach got Popeye to be the hero he is (or was) … is Popeye still a “thing” or did I just date myself? I’m so horribly behind here Esther … I may have to go through by blogger rather than chronological order. I got home late as I was at two parks and got caught in the snow (something I avoid like the plague).

It’s not obvious from the picture that she was much younger; With kids it’s hard to tell. When she was younger, she was tiny but with big hair and eyes.
Yikes, getting caught in the snow sounds awful and dangerous. Glad you got home safely!

I remember all the hair in a baby picture you posted of Ellis one time. I had a little Kewpie-doll curl on the top of my head for the first year and that’s it. Thank you Esther and we’ve had snow and this brutally cold weather ever since Saturday. Winter has kicked in bigtime!
