Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
How are you ❤

Happy belated new year! Thank you for asking. I’m doing ok with some life hiccups but staying positive and writing as much as I can. How are you doing? I visited your blog and your poem to your dad is so sweet. It’s wonderful the relationship you have with him. He must’ve been moved with your words.

These stress toys look stressed themselves. They are a form of advertisement from bio companies at conferences. One year Chris brought home a kidney stone plush that was promotion from a testing company. weird but interesting.

It seems to be a popular advertisement choice. Over the years, we have collected more than 20 stress toys. They’re useful for playing as we toss them into empty boxes for aim practice. Foam, so not floor scratches.

We got them at work once shaped like a desk phone. I brought it home for my mom who was recovering from carpal tunnel surgery and found the stress ball they prescribed was way too hard for her to grip and squeeze to do her exercises.

You’re right about some tense stress balls. We have some that are almost or are impossible to squeeze with one hand. That’s stress inducing!
Did she get softer stress balls and were they helpful?

Yes, the soft and squishy ones worked much better – I told my mom that maybe the idea was to get your hand moving again, but it was difficult for me to squeeze, so it would be painful for her to use.

True…some are too stiff while some are too squishy.
