Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
A jazzed-up apple juice jug – that’s for sure!

The jug is so pretty just as it is. I love to repurpose and find new uses for old things. I didn’t know I liked doing this until I had kids. They can get destroyed and I won’t feel so bad and it doesn’t cost money. yay!

Way to go Esther! You are right about that – kids and pets don’t mean to break things, but … it happens. How close were you to today’s earthquake. Any jolts at your house?

I didn’t even know we had an earthquake. lol. You are more in tune with the news over here than me. It seems we have jolts here and there; some are more palpable. Gosh, I hope we don’t have a big one. They’re so scary; the windows rattling and the sounds of things rattling and crashing.
I break things too…often. It’s easy to get distracted and drop a few dishes here and there.

They mentioned it on the CBS radio news – I think they report all of them. It was a 4.1 magnitude earthquake. We are in line to have 12-18 inches of snow starting Tuesday night through Thursday night. Not happy to hear that … a whole lot of shoveling by Yours Truly. And we have freezing rain first, so it will likely be heavy. I’d like to fast forward to Spring please.
