When Elliot was a toddler he’d pick a daisy each day on our walks to Starbucks. It was his thing. Even before I became a mom, I couldn’t resist walking by a pretty daisy and putting one in my hair. Wouldn’t these mini daisies make a beautiful hair garland?

Cee and my readers, have a wonderful Sunday and take care! Weather seems to be all over the place. CA. is in the midst of a severe drought while my friend in MA. has ice and snow. Stay safe everyone and looking forward to spring and new blooms.

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
This post was like a triple smile – seeing Elliot as toddler – then the gorgeous flowers – and imagining you putting a daisy in your hair and the simple pleasure in that is refreshing

The daisies are gorgeous. The jigsaw I did today had daisies on a sky blue background. It reminded of a dress I used to have. Your post has also reminded me of that. Thank you. I liked that dress and wish I had a photo.

Daisies always bring a smile to my face! The daisy jigsaw puzzle sounds pretty; I hope it was a relaxing activity.
It makes me so happy that this daisy picture reminded you of a dress you used to have. Isn’t it funny how our minds make these associations? That makes me wonder which dresses I remember from my youth. Thank you for your sweet comment!

I do a jigsaw a day on my iPad. They take about 15 minutes on average each. It is very enjoyable and relaxing.

Those are great. I did some too on my phone but had to delete it. Too much fun with the various themes and spent too much time on the phone. I need to practice moderation!

I’m okay with the jigsaw, but I’m a bit addicted to some games on my phone at the moment which are causing me some distraction. I might have to delete them. But not just yet. π

I have those distractions too. Why do they have to be so fun?! don’t want to delete it just yet; I’ll lose my ranking.
Have a great weekend and take care! Hope you fish curriculum is coming along well.

I always like the perpetually perky daisies, whether they are the mini daisies or regular daisies. Elliot will be making the ladies happy if he keeps presenting flowers when he gets older. He does look young here. I heard this will be one of the hottest Super Bowls every played due to the heat wave in California right now.
