Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!

    1. Must be a growth spurt! It’s noticeable for us too. She’s very proud to be bigger now since weight gain was such an issue for years.
Brother has a brother of a heart warrior shirt but he made super goofy faces in the picture that day. I’ll let her know you said that. When I post their pics, they ask if Linda said anything, lol

      1. Yes, at first I thought it was the shadow or the shoes – please tell Ellis she looks very grown up. That’s nice to give out “heart warrior brother” tee-shirts. That’s funny Esther – well Aunt Linda likes Ellis’ photo very much and the new glasses too!

      2. Hi Ellis – thank you for the nice comment. I like to take pictures of the furry and feathered critters. Your mom takes a lot of nice pictures of beautiful flowers … we won’t see flowers here for a couple of months yet. You are lucky to have flowers in the Winter. And your mom is creative when taking pictures in black and white too. 🙂

      3. Thank you – please do that Esther. Yes, I knew she was teasing, especially since she and Elliot are the subject of many of your pictures. You have a lot of creative shots which I have admired. (I’m so far behind here … 5 days.)

      4. Ha ha – if I start out the week Sunday night “in the hole” by the time I get to Thursday, having had the Monday and Tuesday posts, I might rally briefly, but mostly stay behind. I guess we are “fashionably late” as the expression goes Esther.
