Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!

  1. I like that quote a lot. I always felt that way about Saturday in relation to the week–just a simple, free day, although that’s not always the case and Sunday is really the day of rest, at least by going to church. I homeschooled our two girls through high school years ago, so we have something in common beside Jesus and photography. 🙂

    1. Hi Janet, nice to make your acquaintance! The Henry James summer quote is one of my favorites…the afternoons with the stillness of the heat and lingering sunlight make for the best of days.
I just mentioned to my daughter that one of my future goals is to homeschool my kids through high school. It would be such a privilege to do…I say God willing though.
And how great to hear from a blogger who has.
I’ll check out your blog and thank you for saying hello! Esther
