Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
He looks hot. Lol

It was horrendously hot! They had a large fan and mist for the panda.

Cutie 🥰
I love the San Diego Zoo. I once spend an entire day there with the kiddos while my husband was at a work conference.

We couldn’t believe he sat up on that wooden structure for some time. Maybe it was just too hot and there was a blowing fan to his right.
I love that zoo too…so many animals and natural habitats they attempt to provide for their habitants. Did you do the bus tour? You get to review the whole zoo in one trip.

Yes, we wandered around for hours, rode the sky tram, saw a short 4D version of Smallfoot, and took the bus tour last of all when we were too tired to walk anymore! 😂

There’s so much to do. You got the right idea to do the bus ride last; that’s the first thing we do.

We just had one born here at the Detroit Zoo – still in nesting quarters with mom until he is introduced to the Zoo visitors.

That red panda will be so loved! They are adorable and full of personality. When a regular panda was next to the red panda’s quarters years ago, you’d have to wait in line to snatch a quick peek of it.
I hope you get to go and see the red panda…

I hope so too Esther – I have not been to the Zoo since 9th grade, so I think I am overdue.

That would be fun Esther! I’d enjoy doing that … too bad we live 3,000 miles apart from one another.
