Lat night, me and the kiddos drove through the Santana Row street, a trendy shopping and dining outdoor venue in San Jose, to check out the last remnant of Christmas lights before they’re taken down. The evening was windy and cold, so I opted to take photos from the car window. This is the same place where I posted a pic of faux snow from about a month ago.

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
Our decorations usually stay up till the middle of January. I kind of like it

Aren’t the decorations gorgeous?! I’m glad they’re keeping it up later than new years. It must take a lot of resources and energy to put it up and take it down.
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are well. 🙂

Yes these are lovely.
I agree, that it took a lot of time and efforts to put them and then take them out.
I’m great actually, how are you? ☀️

Yes, it must take a large crew!
I’m good, thanks for asking. It’s been a busy first week back to homeschooling. This is my sixth year teaching my kiddos and I’m finally getting into the groove of it. Took forever to finally get some stability with; still there’s much more to learn. Also, lots of rain in the forecast.

On and off rain, but when it rains it pours. This is not regular for us at all.
Thank you for the kind words about teaching!

I am glad the decorations are withstanding the pelting rain and were they up during that mini earthquak a while back? Still beautiful and peaceful.

It’s so pretty here with all the lights and decorations! Since the weather is gloomy, it still has that festive vibe.
