What a fun day! I love how the ducks’ green heads are shining in the sun.

It was a great outing! Usually, we have to zig zag on our walks because of the birdies’ poops. but the recent rains cleared that all away. The green heads on the male Mallard ducks are fantastically green!

Thankfully they stayed at the pond! But I’ve heard that the white ducks go to a neighbor’s house when they miss a day’s feed. It surprised them. 🙂

In the Michigan Duck Rescue and Sanctuary I follow on Facebook, there are so many Pekin ducks that are abandoned and that will start happening shortly after Easter – the poor ducks are bought as Easter presents or to put in baskets and quickly grow up. I am glad to see the kids happily feeding the ducks
