Discovered Bing cherries at friend’s yard. New developments. Friend said this tree hasn’t produced fruit in two years, and this is a good year for it.
Cherries on the higher part of the tree were eaten by birds but not the lower ones. Very tarty!

Not yet, but soon! To make cherry pie with handpicked cherries sound delicious. I’m not a baker, so I don’t know how that’d turn out though.

I love them too! There’s cherry picking in June around San Jose, if they’re still available.
Hopefully, my friend’s cherry tree will grow well, and we don’t have to go far.

Well lychee will be available
Then guava, jawa plum, peaches, mangoes will be still around.
Then pears, plums, various varieties of apple will be available too.

We have a festival in Traverse City, Michigan around 4th of July weekend. Big doings all about food and drinks made from cherries. Big highlight of the festival is the cherry pit spitting contest.
