Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!

  1. The Triceratops thinks he’s having a Big Mac opening his mouth that wide but he is “having his cake and eating it too” while the T-Rex holds his ice cream cone and wishes for a bigger treat! (P.S. – I may not remember what I went in the basement for and have to return upstairs to job my mind, but I remember the Triceratops from my dinosaur-loving days. 🙂

    1. I have that issue a lot. I go into a room and I ask out loud why I am there. My kids are very helpful in answering these puzzling questions. One time I left my grocery at Target after checking out. I got to my car and wondered where it was. Another time I put nail polish in the fridge instead of milk. It’s a hectic life and too much going on in my mind.
Your interpretation is right on!! I never would’ve made the connection that the Triceratops was having his cake thinking it’s a Big Mac. It would be funny to show an extra-small T-rex with a much larger ice cream cone.
I was never a dinosaur person until four years ago. Dinos everywhere!!

      1. Ha ha – I used to like dinosaurs and went to see an exhibit in Toronto when I lived there (a school field trip) and in Chicago at the Natural History Museum years ago. It was interesting. You know more about dinosaurs than you ever thought you would. 🙂
