Today’s afternoon nature finds: a neighbor friend heard chirping sounds and discovered a nest inhabited by 3 baby birds. Ingenious mommy bird for securing this nesting spot. A ladybug spotting as well.

Summer is lovely (even if we started outs about 3-4 weeks early) … there is nothing beats the colors of Summer though, from the blooms to the produce at the farm market, or, if you’re lucky in your garden plot. How sweet to see the baby birds. I missed that at the Park where I walk daily. The tree cutters came last Fall and were unforgiving … they pruned every tree (more like chopped without a thought as to how it looked) and all the low-hanging branches where the Mama Robins built their nests were/are all gone. I was bummed about that for sure. I have through the years photographed them from the Mama sitting on the nest, to the hatching, then fledging. Sigh.

Thank you Yvette! I love that sunshine quote too…it sounded like a line from “The Great Gatsby.” Love how some people can bring words together into a beautiful image. Appreciate your analysis and feedback of my photo posts. Very helpful in learning how to improve as a photographer.
