As part of our science project, we ordered another tadpole from the company Grow A Frog. We did this project a few year ago when the kiddos were younger, and the experience was disastrous. I was new to taking care of fish and adding a frog to that mix was overwhelming. Thus, our buried frogs by our garage. Now that the kiddos are older and more aware of what they’re doing and can follow instructions (somewhat), we’re giving it another shot.
This tadpole is tiny and slowly acclimating to its new environment. It did have a long journey in the USPS box to our home. Its home is a small plastic cube tank and the bottom is covered in blue crystal gravel called Nutri-Sand (provided from the company).

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
What a great idea. I want to get this for my 4 yo twin grandsons. Thanks for posting!

That’s a great idea and would be so fun for little ones! Check out their website. Another online store that we use for butterflies, ladybugs, and praying mantis is Insect Lore.
