Took a different walk route in our neighborhood this afternoon. Look what we found! Plump peas.

Looks like sherbert ice cream colors. Garden rose.
Vivid succulents and the leaves are fleshy to the touch. The flowers open during the day and close at night. Called Hottentot-fig, sour fig, ice plant, or highway ice plant. It’s a creeping ground cover succulent.
Lamb’s Ear. Perfect name for the soft leaves. It reminded me of puppy ears, but lamb’s ears work too, I guess! :OA good border plant although it is considered invasive. In the civil war, this leaf was used as bandages, and it has astringent properties.
