Scattered purple blooms by a foresty trail; parked to take a breather from the windy road. Nearby was a sign about lion sightings. Saw the drawing of it and all 3 of us sprinted to the car.

Thanks Cee for this challenge!

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
Such a soft delicate flower for today 😀

Esther – If you have a photo of a peace rose, tomorrow is National Peace Rose Day:

Yes, I know you post every Wednesday for Wordless Wednesday so thought you might find that a fun fact.

Awww, thank you! Instead of a Wordless Wednesday today, I went ahead and posted it under Flower of the Day.
I still have time to post Wordless Wednesday…maybe. My kids are done with their Zoom Tae Kwon Do lesson, so they’re probably wanting to eat. Can’t ignore them any longer. lol.

Ha ha – well you have a “Flower of the Day” that is something you do all the time, so that is even better. I only started doing the Wordless Wednesday on a regular basis a few months ago as I had so many photographs that were not enough for a long post, so went that route. Before that I had only done it once before.

That rose picture I took today. I was walking around my block trying to find a rose that fit the peace description. Nice excuse to go out and take a breather. It was perfect for my FOTD post.
I like your Wordless Wednesday and you should keep going with it! It is a great way to use fun pictures. Your post today was hilarious about the singing ducks.

Well, it worked perfectly and we won’t be able to have roses in our yard for at least two months if we are lucky with all this cold weather. Thank you – I am glad you like the Wordless Wednesday. I did it only once last year for the first time – there were two starlings sitting on the top of a chain link fence and it was like they were fighting – they’d look the other way, then one would turn around and the other one looked away, then the second one would turn around – like a couple after a fight. 🙂 I used a whole series of pictures to show them.
