My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!
Linda, I did not know the picture captured the fuzziness when I took it! The sun was so bright that I zoomed in and took a gazillion photos…picked the best one out of them. Then, I saw the fuzziness and couldn’t believe it! You noticed it too! Thanks for always encouraging and leaving nice messages. Love it!!
You are welcome Esther and yes, I noticed it right away and apricots are not even as fuzzy as peaches are, so you did really well. I always like getting home and seeing something unexpected in a shot.
Thanks Linda! That was a keen observation. The fuzz on peaches are so…so fuzzy and soft. Apricots are fuzzy too but less than peaches. I guess I got a good one!

You always manage to capture great and beautiful shots of your subjects!
Awww, thank you so much!! Your kind comment makes me happy as an amateur photographer. My main goal is to make the people look their best.
You’re utmost welcome and I’ll say, mission accomplished. 👏
Oh yea!!
You even captured the fuzziness of the apricots Esther!

Yes you did and a great photo!
Thank you!
BTW, they taste amazing too!
Nothing beats the fruit of Summer especially by late July/early August.
This is the best time for fruits!! Do you have a favorite? Chris says it’s a good thing we shop at Costco due to the massive fruit eating I do.
I do like cherries which are out around this time. But when they have the luscious Georgia peaches, I can’t resist them either!
