sing like wildflowers

My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

“A flower does not use words to announce its arrival to the world; it justs blooms.”– Matshouna Dhliwayo

These flowers remind me of sweet bubble gum and summer afternoons. I haven’t seen these flowers on our common grounds before…must be a new addition or random seed. Whichever its source, they’re lovely.

Thanks Cee for hosting the FOTD challenge to share nature’s beauty with others!

Thank you readers for visiting and wishing you all a pleasant and healthy weekend.

Very pretty – I’ve never had them at this house, but they reminded me a little of hibiscus or clematis in their “daintiness factor”.

Thank you Linda! Love the way you described them: “daintiness factor.” They are very delicate looking, especially the petals. At first I thought they were Hibiscus but I couldn’t be sure. Still learning the formal names of flowers. I am going to look up Hibiscus and Clematis now. Thanks for the suggestion. 🙂

You’re welcome Esther; I used to have both in the garden before the first Polar Vortex came thru and wiped them out and loved them for their beauty and how dainty and fragile they were.

Dainty flowers are no match for Polar Vortex. Nature is wild, beautiful, dangerous, and awe inspiring!!

Oh how lovely! We have some Azaleas in our front yard. I’ll have to make a post soon to show you. They are similar but different 😉

They are lovely flowers! I didn’t know what kind of flower it was until an image search. Now I know what Azaleas look like.
Yes, you should post your Azalea pics too. The pink color is delicate and soft. Other colors must be very pretty too.

These are beautiful! The detail on the stamen tips (is that what they’re called?) looks like tiny silver balls. Love how one type of flower has many varieties.
Hope you are having a good week!
