Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
Did your kids build a fort for the toy characters, Esther? It looked like a fun play.

They love forts for themselves, but that carries over to their animal friends too. The animals have names and personalities. oy….I forget their names and kids give me that disappointed look. lol

Good for them to use their imagination in building forts.

Their forts would’ve been much better and sustaining if we could have a higher roof. But I can’t randomly nail hooks on the wall, so we had to settle for cave-height ceilings.

My daughter bought this new house a year ago. Part of the house is two stories. The living room and kitchen is one story with higher ceiling. It makes easy to build something high.

They are so fun to build and hide under! Does your grandfather still build forts?

Sorry, I meant granddaughter. I used my phone to comment. Sometimes I don’t see too well of what I type.

Miriam, that clears up a lot! I was wondering how old your grandfather was and if you were talking about his past time. Typing on the phone and its auto corrector sometimes make for funny messages.
Your granddaughters must have a lot of fun building forts, and they are so small that any little nook can become their imaginary space.

One time I respond to a comment and typed the name wrong. It was embarrassing. Good thing I could ask that blogger to go to her comment section of WordPress to make to correction.
My granddaughters love to build forts with imaginary tunnels. Sometimes Autumn doesn’t want Nora to get in to make the tunnel collapsed. At least she is more gentle now, not too drag her and push her away.
