Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!

    1. They are fuzzy and soft plush. You can’t tell from the picture but they are actually heating pads. Some sort of clay beads are sealed under a velcro pouch; you microwave the bag and then put it back into the velcro pouch. I’m glad the instructions were clear that you do not put the whole stuffie into the microwave. I was unsure and probably would’ve ended up with singed dolls.
The Avo plush is Ellis’ post-hospital present and she asked that Elliot get the pineapple one. It’s been our tradition since she was very small. She brings Elliot a surprise after hospital stays or long days at the doctor’s office.

      1. That is interesting and good thing for clear directions … I admit, I’m not always good at reading directions. I think that is very thoughtful of your friend to bring a present for Elliot as well. That keeps him from feeling ignored/isolated in the hubbub of activity surrounding Ellis’ medical issues. That’s so nice to have a sibling … you and I never had one and it’s nice to see your kids growing up together so nicely.

    1. Avo plush are pretty cute. It wasn’t my first choice: Ellis picked it out as her post-hospital present.
Avo plush are popular these days and they come in all sizes. You won’t believe the plush out there…we just ordered a toast stuffie last night. It’s part of my Halloween dress up and kids can have it afterwards. win/win. Yep, I try to rationalize my plush buys. lol
How’s Idaho? I hope you and your fam are adjusting well. hugs…
