Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!

    1. Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving with family.
Thanks for the insight on the celery root used for making soup. Hmmmm, never heard of it but sounds interesting to make and try. It may be interesting in a funky way since I’m not so good at making American soups. lol

      1. I’m sorry I’m behind here (again) … it was going to be my “Reader night” but I don’t want WordPress to zap the comments here, so I’m here first. I m thankful for you my blogging friend on the other side of the nation – I thought of you today when I heard an interview after a woman was cooking a turkey and the power was shut off by Pacific Gas & Electric – she went and got the generator from the garage. Hope your Thanksgiving went well.
