My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

Thanks! Stuffed animal craziness in this family.
Hope you are having a good weekend and having peace in the midst of all this Christmas hustle and bustle.

We have a blue squishy penguin, I think he’s king penguin’s cousin!

Thank you for the link! Amazing discovery to find one intact. To think that it was sitting in storage for 20 years before someone discovered a crack. Good eye!!
How do we go about mining for dinosaur fossils? 🙂

You’re welcome Esther – I thought you might see the story, but your news might be filled with weather news and not carry it or the photo. Amazing photo as well. Yes – good eye indeed? Imagine a job where you went on archeological digs every day. I had a teacher in college that was interested in ancient history – that was the course, but he was teaming up with a dentist who was also interested in ancient mummies and their dental care. They made a film of examining a mummy for its teeth – it was fascinating … a kind of shown and tell.
