Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!

I don’t like centipedes as they move way too quickly – had one in the bathtub the other morning – ugh. These millipedes, despite as many legs, they are short and I’m good with them. 🙂

I hear you there – they run like the wind! That snake last week at the Metropark left me feeling a little jittery. I must remember when walking on trails to look down more often as well as around. We have a storm rolling in – I was hoping to get through Reader tonight – one weather forecaster said 6:30, another 10:00 p.m. – looks like the first guy was right. Hoping it blows over. One more day of this heat and I hope we put a bow on the hot weather.
