My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!
Where was this rain contraption when I took the bus? I would have loved to have that. I always kept a spare set of clothes at the office to have on hand for a bad rainy or snowy day and wore old shoes for to/from work to look presentable at work.
It would be so funny to see a bunch of people wearing that contraption!
Yes, that was a great idea for having an extra set of clothes and shoes. Smart move.
Even with a golf umbrella and a heavy raincoat and old shoes, there were a few times that I came into work soaking wet. I even had an extra pair of pantyhose as my legs would get splashed and soaking wet. I think it would be fun to get one … probably scare the squirrels and birds!

Haha great way not to get wet.
