Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
Yay! Rain, and more on the way.

It’s going to be fabulous! It used to be bone dry here and we could walk down to the dry creek and not find a trickle.

Thank you! We were so excited to see the creek flowing after some barren seasons.

Beautiful. Makes me want to take my shoes off and dip my feet in the water. 😁

Doesn’t it? It look so refreshing with the sunlight dappling on the water, but it must still be cold.
Thank you!

Yes, I guess it would be cold. Okay, I would look out and dream about dipping my toes in. 😁

Getting to be a more common occurrence.

The tree just made a clean split and there’s actually flowing water. It used to be bone dry there.
Rain is in the forecast this week and maybe it’ll add more to the creek. This must be the tail end of it.

Rain has done dramatic landscape changes to our area. This is one the rainiest it’s been in years. We look out at the hills and it’s actually green instead of yellow, orange brown.
There’s more rain in the forecast too!
