New nests are fun! We just found a Mourning Dove family at our new place! The female is sitting with a baby in a nest right outside our bedroom window
What a fantastic view! You guys are super lucky to see that. Nature is amazing and this is the season for baby birds.
A few years ago, we were lucky to find a nest in a bush and got to take pictures up close. Maybe we’ll check that location again this year.

Same here. More rains this week for us. Yesterday was lovely and mild with no need for a jacket. Usually, we have warmer and dry weather by now but this is an unusually wet winter for us.
