Our family is on the road to recovery! After a week of feeling like a bus ran over us, we are feeling substantially better; grateful for improved health.

This afternoon, we did some gardening and took a walk. This pink burst of flowers stopped us in our tracks with its beauty. They were so peefectly pink that I had to recheck if they were real.

Every spring is the only spring, a perpetual astonishment.

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!

      1. That’s amazing and I remember when you say that about the silk flowers, that I do have a pot with silk daisies in it that I sit on a chair I painted years ago. They are perfect daisies and purple I believe so I think they are Marguerite Daisies.
