I have no idea if that’s pollen on the petals. I was so excited to see the Dogwood and to have identified it.
Yes and “caption” … now I notice it but didn’t when I wrote the comment. I’m not sure I could identify Dogwood … one type has burgundy-colored leaves with white berries. Learned recently it was Dogwood – had no idea before that!
I’m surprised too by the different colors a flower species can have. Makes the process of identifying them more difficult! Keeps the learning fun!
