I recently got a sweet surprise in the mail from by fellow blogger friend and homeschooling mom at Heavens to Betty!
She sent me some great gardening seeds’ packets, herbs, tomatoes, and mircogreens, a prayer tin box (which I admired in one of her blog posts), a print out of fun jokes, and Hot Wheel cars for the kids, along with a thoughtful card! This is my opportunity to try my hand at growing basil again!!
I received the package the day after I got my colonoscopy done, so it was extra special to lift my spirits.
Heavens to Betty , thank you again! I was so blessed and can’t wait to see how my new seeds grow.

Oh what an interesting stuff!!!
If you tell me that car is for dart, I won’t be surprised
hahahaha, Dart may want to drive into the sunset in one of the Hotwheels. We’ve been trying to get Dart to climb on one of Ellis’ doll’s slide but to no avail.
Well 😝
This is great and well deserved. Thank you heavens to Betty
Awww, thank you! It was very sweet of her.
What a thoughtful gift!
So nice of her to surprise me! She’s very thoughtful.
Glad you enjoyed the care package! 🥰
So much!! 🙂 I’ll use the prayer tin box soon. Never had one and this will be useful, especially once homeschooling kicks in next month.
We have the same seeds. I’m going to start by trying the micro greens. My kiddos love eating them!
Nice! Maybe I should try the microgreens first too, like you. My kids have never tried it, so this will be a good experiment for us. Elliot is usually the picky eater, but lately he’s been willing to try new things. 🙂
how nice.
So sweet of her!
What a thoughtful gift!
It made my day when I opened the mailbox!
It was very thoughtful of her. She sent you something else when you were recovering from COVID I think – chocolate potatoes from Idaho if memory serves me right.
You have great memory! Yes, she sent me some Idaho chocolate and taffy. She’s a fellow homeschooling mom too.
Ha ha – I just told you YOU have a good memory. 🙂 Friends of the family went to Idaho and brought back chocolate spuds for us, so that’s why I remembered the post, but forgot about the taffy. The detail on the potatoes was remarkably, right down to the “eye” of the potato. It would not make a good Mr. Potato Head but was delicious!
Sometimes my memory surprises me! Depends on how much coffee I have during the day or not or maybe too much. It’s so finicky. hehehe
