sing like wildflowers

My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

It was a surprise to see a Crape Myrtle flower growing in a bush because usually I see these growing high up in the trees.

Thanks, Cee, for hosting! Hope you are having a great last week of August.

Dear readers, thank you for stopping by. Appreciate you all. ~ Esther

They are so pretty with their bushy cone-shape full of flowers. Were the crape myrtles in Virginia hot pink too?

In addition to hot pink, they also came in pink or white.

Crepe myrtle bushes/trees are very pretty, Esther. I was surprised by your spelling of crape. I guess that’s the US spelling and crepe is the British which we use in Australia.
