My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!
This shop has charming ornaments and everything looks so festive in that store!
Ear muffs are amazing for cold days and this fuzzy one probably gives extra warmth.
Red fuzzy earmuffs sound fun! Ellis has a hot pink one at home and Elliot a light blue one. They used to use it for dress up, but now I have no idea where they are.
It is – very eyecatching and a bright red scarf too, but I haven’t worn it in a while, probably since I worked on site. I took the bus for many years – it was not a coat to wear in Winter as it had a satin lining, so I wore it more in Fall with a cardigan underneath – otherwise anything bulky underneath was too tight. And I wouldn’t wear it if it would snow as it was plush and would get wet. I have had it for years – I should try it on. When I walk at the Park in Winter, I dress more for warmth. I am not dressed for style – how boring I have become Esther!
Thanks Ju-Lyn! We are having fun and trying to get back the lost month. She’s had a few hiccups with migraines but nothing major. God is so good to give us this reprieve and to enjoy family time.
I like the E snow globe best! Ellis is super cute in those black fuzzy earmuffs!! I’m hoping they might be a surprise gift underneath your Christmas tree. ❄️🎄
The snow globe is interesting; when you lift the lid, it’s a candle underneath. Such cute ornaments there!!
We didn’t get anything there…they are all about Pokemon for Christmas gifts this year. They were really into Bakugan last year. lol. Hard to keep up.

a Christmas tree at your home?
Yes, we did; the day after Thanksgiving. We have two small ones on a table.
How about you?
Yes, I just posted a photo! 🎄❤️

Most welcome, Eshter!
Super sweet 🤗❤️😉
So festive and bright! I tried on a perfume and the kids hated the smell on me. Stuck their head out the window on the way home. lol.

Merry Christmas to you too, Cindy!! The font is spectacular. 🙂
Cute ornaments – warm and fuzzy. I have a pair of fuzzy earmuffs in red like those.

Yes, I bought them to match a plush coat that is many bright colors. You could see me coming!
Bright and colorful!! You still wear it??

So lovely to see you are up and about, and particularly Ellis having fun with those earmuffs.
