Ellis was getting restless from being stuck at home for days and wanted to go somewhere other home. So what better place than to go to Target?! We needed to buy cereal and new knock-off Crocs for her anyway (which are just as comfortable, cute, and on clearance right now!)
We quickly learned that Target is all about Halloween now from the moment you walk into the store: cute candy corn plush, colorful pumpkin decorations, sparkly spider accessories, etc. At the back of the store, Target had almost cleared out the back-to-school supplies’ section and were now restocking shelves with Halloween costumes and ghoulish decor finds. But this was the first time in the costume section that Target had a “Bullseye” dog costume.
It would be a fun and easy costume for younger Target fans to wear! Ellis was busy admiring the small shopping cart that kids could push while wearing the costume.

He’s a very cute mascot.
I think so, too!
Your plush dog is sweet and love that it’s got its own colourful backpack! The costumes are fun – but the slightly cynic in me does think that it’s great free advertising for the store! I haven’t seen anything quite similar in U.K. shops – yet! 😀
I’m with you, Annika, on the free advertising for the store. 😉
Now I see what you and Annika mean! But just at first glance, it didn’t cross my mind.
🙂
Thank you… the plush is cute to have in our ever expanding stuffie collection.
You make a great point! It didn’t occur to me that it was free advertising for the store. This is the first year I saw something like this, and I wonder if we’ll see any trick-or-treaters donning them.
Halloween was more fun when my daughter was little.
So cute, Halloween sounds like fun!
It’s coming up next month! Kids haven’t decided on their costumes yet and I’m pretty sure they’re going to decide last minute, like they did last year.
Haha yes, that’s how kids are 😅
Ha! A Target employee costume! That’s hilarious.
Well, do you get a commission for donning a costume that is advertising Target? It seems early for Halloween, as it was just back-to-school. Soon it will be the holidays.
That would be hilarious if they have a commission! I wonder if we’ll see any trick-or-treaters wearing them.
Before we know it, Christmas decorations will be rolling out. At Costco, they’re selling Christmas decorations alongside Halloween costumes, candies, and decor. Poor Thanksgiving doesn’t get much attention wedged between those holidays.
Yes, they COULD, if they wanted to, do something fun, give you a voucher inside the costume to redeem it for goodies with the Target logo. At least you wouldn’t be cold in the Target costume.
Wouldn’t that be a great idea?!
Yes, you should e-mail their marketing department and suggest that promotion as a fun gimmick if it’s not too late in the season for doing so. They could put their heads together and come up with a fun part 2 of the costume!
Great idea!
The costumes are fun, it’s great free advertising for the store! Halloween sounds like fun!
Nice looking Bullseye” dog costume.
God blessing & Tack Care,My friend!
It is a cute costume! I wonder if anybody will buy and wear it for Halloween.
Are you wearing?
No, we’re not wearing these costumes! Just a cute idea that they have at the store and wanted to share with you all.
Good. Thank you so much my dear friend, Esther! That’s advertising Target? It seems early for Halloween, as it was just back-to-school. Soon it will be the holidays.
