My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!
Thank you, Jo! The tutorial seemed so easy, and I figured it would take me a few minutes to do it. I was gravely mistaken…took me over an hour to do it…huffing and puffing along the day.
Thank you! I felt content after I finished it, but during the process I wanted to quit so many times. The tutorial makes it seem simple but doing it on your own is a pain!
We are asking a lot from our brains aren’t we? I am going to finish up here at WP and do my French lesson. It is very cold in the kitchen right now …. they extended this high wind advisory til 11:00 – ugh.
Yes, we are! I’m not so good at multitasking but I have to at times. hahaha, that’s why I end up showing up at the wrong day or time.
Winter is rough for you! Spring must come soon and the weather miler for you.

Woo hoo – you are on a roll Esther!
Thank you, Linda! Your encouragement keeps me going…I hope your French is going well. We’re definitely stretching our brains.

Multitasking is difficult sometimes … brain can only be stretched in so many directions. 🙂 My brain is Winter weary.
Winter is a time to take it easy and rest! Maybe that’s what nature is telling us to do.
Yes, put everything on “pause” like nature does.
We need to! This week was a week of no appointments but then my bottom teeth started to hurt with sensitivity. So off to the dentist I go tomorrow.
Oh for goodness sake … hope it was nothing big. Do you use sensitive teeth toothpaste?
