Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!

I did know a cat that adored eating lettuce, so who’s to say about these animals’ food preferences?
That would be so odd and funny to see! But yea, who’s to say what animals like to eat. I’ve noticed that Teddy doesn’t eat snacks when I’m holding him. He’ll only eat snacks when he’s let down, which is a good thing because he leaves crumbs everywhere. lol He rejected papaya and wheat treats today.
Parsley is definitely a bit bitter, although the flat leaf you have is milder. 😌
I didn’t know that there was a taste difference between the two. I thought it was a shape difference. Good to know!
Well parsley is a pretty strong favor!
Very strong…he didn’t like it too much. But if Ellis tore off a little leaf and put it by his mouth, he would munch on it. I think it’s safe to say it’s not his favorite. He’ll do shredded mini wheats any time.
Neither am I.
It has a strong scent!
well tell Teddy parsley has vitmin K and might be good for the tummy 🙂
I’ll tell him the nutritional benefits of parsley, and we’ll see if that changes his mind!

Teddy sez: “I will not eat this funny-looking sprig they placed in front of me – no, I will not. Please offer me something else.”
He wasn’t having it! Next up is cilantro.
I hope cilantro has a better taste. I have never had cilantro unless it was in something I ate and I didn’t know what it was.
Cilantro has a strong taste and smell too! You probably tried it in salsa or Mexican foods. It’s pretty tasty but in moderation. I now the Vietnamese pho soup also includes cilantro.
Okay, I am not much of an expert on food as my mom did not try some of these spices etc. And she and my father did not like fish … we had tuna salad occasionally and when I was a kid, Mrs. Paul’s fish sticks, but that’s about it.
I like to eat fish but preparing it is challenging!
If you like spices, you could use paprika or cayenne pepper…I use those spices for a lot of things when I want that spicy kick.
I like spicy – good idea!
Lemon is also good with fish!
“Which one of you ate my carrot?”
Hhahaa, you’d be surprised to hear that Teddy has never had a carrot yet. He loves dried papaya, shredded mini wheats, and his vitamins. Just discovered that parsley is not his favorite. Our next snack experiment will be cilantro, but we’re waiting for taco night, so we can all enjoy it. 🙂
