My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

I am very much in favor of family silliness.
I agree!!
You both look very happy!!!
Thank you! We were trying this picture taking trend where you walk back and forth while your picture is being taken. It’s supposed to make a fun and candid picture. We were in San Diego on the USS Midway and it was our 19th wedding anniversary.
Congratulations on your anniversary and enjoying your family unity. ❤️❤️❤️❤️🦎🐇
Silliness is good – you all deserve it after the past few years. Where were you touring in the black-and-white pic?
We love being silly together! It makes for a better time.
The place we were touring was USS Midway in San Diego, and that was our 19th anniversary date with the kids.
Yes it does – well happy belated anniversary to you and Chris. Okay, I looked it up – an aircraft carrier and you were on the ship … bonus lesson for the kids too!
Thank you! We were in the middle of our trip, so we didn’t do a special celebration, but being out with the kids was fun enough for an anniversary outing. You’re so right…the carrier is to interesting and you get to go up and down the carrier into the different places. This was our second time here together and kids got more out of it. In the summer, they have programs where kids can stay overnight. Wouldn’t that be fun?? The kids said “no,” but I’d love to have that adventure.
That does sound like fun Esther. You have to get them to be more adventurous. 🙂 Years ago, we had a submarine dock in Downtown Detroit and you could tour it … it was fun to go on that tour.
Wonderful family silliness together. Where to came back in black and white pic. ?
Love this! 💕 Life can get so serious—being silly together is one of the best kinds of self-care. It reminds me how important it is to make space for joy and little moments that lift the spirit.
Thank you! Yes, it’s fun to be silly and just enjoy the moment. I hope you get to enjoy some silliness too this summer.
Silly memories are the best! 😊
