I was inspired by Leanne Cole’s post of her adorable cats in monochrome to do this post, and I immediately went to my pictures to see which ones of Teddy and Dart that I could change into black and white photos. Thank you, Elke, from Pictures Imperfect Blog for hosting this challenge.

Ohh they’re adorable!
Thank you so much!
My oldest is taking a digital photography class and all the assignments are to be in black and white. It’s surprising how changing from color to black and white changes the photo. These pet photos are great! 👍
Thank you
Thank you!
Thank you! Some pictures I changed to black and white and it didn’t turn out as well. When there’s too much going on in the background, it doesn’t look that great. But these I liked.
That’s awesome your oldest is learning digital photography!! I hope he keeps learning and doing cool things with it. What kind of photos does he like taking? Black and White photos do make a difference to a picture’s ambiance.
Wonderful your pets Black & White photos.
Thank you, Raj!
Most welcome, Esther 😊
I love the monochromatic pet photos!
Thank you, Liz!
You’re welcome, Esther!
Aw, Esther, they turned out stunning!
Thank you so much! I had good models.
These are not only great, but fun photographs Esther. I keep telling myself, I will try B&W one day ….
Thank you! I had good models.
You should try it. I think yours will turn out great.
I should do that – I do have a ton of cute squirrel pictures and I’m thinking of taking my camera to Council Point Park when the leaves turn a little more … it looks better on one side than the other. They have planted 25 trees also, but they are very spindly and not along the shoreline – good for future squirrel nests, should there be more squirrels down the road.
Late to comment, but these are adorable! The lack of Color makes you focus on the texture, Linda xx
Your pets are so photogenic! I love hearing about them. 🙂
Thank you so much! They’re going to love hearing that.
