sing like wildflowers

My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

My sweet neighbor surprised me with a desktop European Cypress plant today! She said it was for us to get into the holiday mood. Thank you, V! It definitely adds to the holiday vibes in our house. We’ll be putting up our Christmas tree, probably tomorrow or Thursday.

Thank you, Teri, for hosting this challenge!

We don’t do thanksgiving, but I hope it is a lovely day for you and your family.

Very festive looking and very thoughtful of your thoughtful neighbor V … now ready, set, go for putting up the tree over this weekend!

It was a sweet surprise! She’s my neighbor who bakes us her sourdough bread: those we love to eat with jam.
We haven’t even taken out the tree yet. Hopefully, we’ll muster up the motivation this weekend.
      Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thank you Esther, same to you! I adore sour dough bread. My grocery store has a sliced boule that I treat myself with – that delicious rustic bread I could just eat with butter only as it’s so good. Your neighbor is very thoughtful. You have a while before Christmas – rest. How did the baked macaroni turn out?
