My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!
Hi Liz, she’s still here but we’re planning on going home later this afternoon. Her throwing up episode is over and now she has to keep down fluids without the iv. She has 2 full cups of water and 3 juice boxes to go.
Yesterday was an emotional day for her…cried throughout the day. She does not like being here and the side effect of her cyclic vomiting is crying. Ack!Yesterday my mom called me to say that my dad went to the e.r. for dizziness. Whew, he’s ok thankfully.

Oh, the poor kid, crying all day. My heart goes out to her and to you as her mother. A relief that your dad is okay after his bout of dizziness,
Thank you for asking, Liz!
You’re welcome, Esther!
That was so sweet of Elliot! What a great big brother!
Elliot was/is always so thoughtful to his sister. I’m sure seeing Teddy gave Ellis (and you) a much-needed smile.
I love seeing Teddy and I’m sure he is doing a good job.
