My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!
Yes, me too Esther. Today I finally got out on a walk to the Park and looked at the house that always has Snowdrops in mid-February. Nothing yet, but we have a little warm-up this weekend, so perhaps there will be a sign of life coming soon!
Thank you – I hope not … I have gone out three days in a row, enjoying the sunshine and going to my favorite parks looking for photo ops (waterfowl on the ice, squirrels) and had success. Just when my photos to sort thru from last Fall were finally dwindling, I now have another 300 to go thru. Some will be duplicates I’m sure, but still. I am grateful we are turning the corner!
So glad to hear that you are going out and enjoying the sunshine!! That’s great you got a lot of photos. It’s better to have more than less but I know the pain of paring that’s involved.

Oh, those are so pretty! It looks like spring!
Thank you! I was surprised at the warm weather last week, and then this week it’s been gloomy and rainy. We DO need the rain when we can get it.
Very “pretty in pink” flowers!
Thank you, Linda! I can’t wait for your part of the hood to start springing up with pretty pink flowers soon.

That sounds great! Fingers crossed. No more snow and ice, please. You have had enough of that tough weather.
