sing like wildflowers
My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!

Great photo! I don’t think we’ve seen airplane ears before.
Thank you! Teddy had shorter ears when he was younger and they were airplane ears until his ears began to flop to the side. When he was only like a month old, I think he had ears that stood up and eventually they make their way down.
I didn’t take good pictures of him back then. We were getting used to handling him and he was not feeling happy with new humans trying to pet him at every chance
You’re welcome!
That’s a cute trick Teddy!
Thank you! He didn’t even know he was doing it. He was just trying o escape from the bag.
Teddy is so cute with his airplane ears, Esther!
Thank you, Miriam!
He looks like one of those planes that the military use, the really big ones.
He’s ready for takeoff! ✈️
He needs little wings!
